Rate increase #1 – Added ~$11/month starting in 2026
Rate increase #2 – Another ~$2/month starting January 2027

Fuel charges get recalculated every July – next reset is July 2026
A clean energy charge adjustment might lower your bill by ~$2/month starting September 2026 (pending approval)

Removing and reinstalling panels later can be costly — and sometimes complicated.

🔧 Use one reputable company for both roof + solar when possible.
That way there’s no finger-pointing if something leaks or fails.

🕶️ Make sure your system is designed with real shade analysis (like LIDAR).
Tree shading matters — a lot.

🔋 Batteries are great for backup…but not always necessary.
If you rarely lose power, the ROI may not pencil out.

🌡️ Energy efficiency first.
Insulation and sealing can reduce your usage — meaning a smaller solar system.

📅 Plan to stay in the home 7+ years.
Solar is a long-term financial play — not a quick flip feature.

🐿️ If you have squirrels, raccoons, or pigeons…get critter guards.
Trust me on this one.

💵 Know your financing.
