The 1st Annual Cedar Fairmount Car Show will take place in Cleveland Heights from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 21 in the Cedar Fairmount District parking lot behind Firestone, 12420 Cedar Road. Admission is free.
The show will feature live music by Blue Lunch, food for purchase by The Fairmount Cocktail Bar (2448 Fairmount Blvd.), and a kid zone located in the Grocery Outlet (12438 Cedar Road) parking lot.
A 50/50 raffle will benefit Future Heights, whose mission is to create a vibrant, sustainable future for Cleveland Heights and University Heights through community and economic development that meaningfully engages residents, business owners, stakeholders, and institutions.

On April 30, at the Cleveland Heights Community Center, Cleveland Heights Mayor Jim Petras delivered a State of the City address that highlighted the city’s unique attributes while also focusing on greater accountability in government. Using the city’s historic homes as a metaphor, Petras noted that Cleveland Heights has “good bones,” but requires serious investment and upkeep.

The city of Cleveland Heights has recently added two FAQ pages to its website on issues of interest and debate among residents: the Blanche Avenue Extension and the Doan Brook Restoration at Horseshoe Park.
