Advantage Gold Upgrade 4-0-1-186 is available. Fixes printing issues apparently caused by previous release as well as other fixes.

To get the upgrade, click Help | Check for Software Update or wait until tomorrow and it will show up when you start Advantage Gold.

Read the Help | "See What's New" to see the changes.

If you installed DOS Advantage Plus as a NEW install using our new consolidated installer, it did not apply the fix. Please re-install it and it will fix it. The aplus release number should be 3-55-1-23.

DOS ADVANTAGE PLUS FIX

Sometime in late November of 2024, a change to the backend of Smartluck website, apparently caused our old Dos Advantage Plus program to lock up when opened. Behind the scenes, it was downloading non-existent files to the tips folder.

A fix program for this is available which will remove the empty tips, eliminate the lockup and replace the Advantage Plus Start program, aplus.exe. Because this DOS program is 20 years out of service we are not releasing a new version at this time. Therefore this fix program needs to be run after any new install of aplus355.

AplusFix and aplus.exe which it installs are both digitally codesigned by Smartluck, Inc.

Requirements: This fix requires that Advantage Plus be installed in the c:\gh folder which is the default install location. Advantage Plus installed in our Smartluck Flash Drive does not use the aplus.exe start program and therefore cannot use this fix.
