🚀 ArianeGroup technology propelled the Artemis II mission to the Moon and back

Mission success for Artemis II! The crew aboard the Orion spacecraft has safely returned to Earth after orbiting the Moon. On their 10-day journey, Orion’s crew module was propelled and supplied with energy and vital resources by the European Service Module (ESM), to which ArianeGroup and several of our sites have made significant contributions.

Behind these key technologies provided to the ESM for the prime contractor Airbus Defence Airbus Space on behalf of the ESA - European Space Agency, ArianeGroup demonstrates its ability to craft human-rated systems with chemical propulsion system, designed for long duration missions to Moon and Mars for example.
