Our missions trip to Olanchito, Honduras was life changing! We had Vacation Bible School with the kids from Casa Hogar Niños Felices. This started out over 20 years ago with Sra Digna taking children in, teaching them, and caring for them. She lost the building to her orphanage due to Covid and Compassion Connections came in and helped her build a new school house on land her daughter donated. We are now working on buying land to build a new center for the children. During this missions trip we shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the children and their families, provided warm meals, played games, painted, and shared the love of Christ. There were kids that would eat half of their food and then take the rest of their food home to their families.
