Huffmaster Strikes

Huffmaster Crisis Response is recruiting experienced CNC Machinist to work during a possible labor dispute for a Manufacturing company located in Michigan, this job action could occur early June 2026.

Pay Rate: $50/hour
Weekly Guarantee: 60-Hours (If Ready, Willing, and Able to Work Each Scheduled Shift)

Basic Requirements:
1 Year of CNC Machinist Experience Within the Last 5-years - OR - 6 Months of Experience Within the Last 3-Years
Must be willing and able to travel and deploy for a minimum of 45-day
Strong attention to detail through repetitive machine operations and measurements to ensure high quality through the production process.
Comfortable working in a cooperative, team oriented, fast paced environment.
Desire to take ownership of your role including performance and attendance accountability.
Willingness to work on traditional and non-traditional shifts
Job Duties:
Obtain raw materials from the Material Handler and place them at your machining station.
Run the first piece and verify that it meets all of the specifications. Receive confirmation from the Department Supervisor or Quality Associate before running the batch.
Operate machine to run the batch of components, continually verifying that the produced parts meet all quality standards and specifications.
Use gauges to ensure produced components meet all specifications and requirements.
Make mechanical adjustments as necessary to keep parts within specifications
Complete SPC charts and attribute chart (list of gauging and dimensions to be checked)
Pack finished products as instructed
Complete all needed documentation and tagging for each tub of materials.
Perform routine preventative maintenance on your machines. (Adding oils and fluids as needed, cleaning, and changing bits)
Keep a safety first mindset by following all safety rules and operating in a safe manner.
Keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.
Perform other related duties as assigned
