During the 2026 Draper and Oakland Alternabreak, the Oakland crew was hosted by to paint a community mural of the Oakland black-crowned heron for the ! The mural turned out amazing, and we are so grateful for the opportunity to engage with the Oakland community and work with the Bay Area Mural Program. Thank you, BAMP!

Get engaged with our local communities on October 15th! We’ll be hosting the Claremont Forum’s Prison Library Project, the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW), Draper’s very own ESL+ and PCCEC programs, and Pomona’s Black Student Union (BSU)!
