Doing something means letting older adults continue to contribute to their communities as they are able and willing, uniting and empowering communities of all ages to respect the aging process, and addressing the challenges our changing age structure poses. To us, doing something means helping grandparents raise grandchildren, encouraging affordable housing coupled with age-smart services, and stimulating partnerships that mobilize community resources to care for vulnerable older adults.

Last week, a special celebration was held to honor Roger Tofte, creator of the Enchanted Forest, and the lasting contributions he made to Oregon. In 2024, AGE+ was honored to celebrate his achievements with an Ageless Award.
