I bought 4 National Walking Sprinklers almost 10 years ago and I’m glad I did. The company went out of business about 3 or 4 years ago. If you find a used B3 model (the largest they made and the one in the video) in good shape they sell for $300 or more dollars. I believe I’ll keep mine until I can’t garden any more and then probably pass them on to the children. They’re built that well.

I bought these over 30 years ago. They were called “Saylors Caps” and had 2 parts. They were metal frame and 18x36 inch 4 mil clear bags. They are so much easier to use than the wall of waters type items being sold today. 2 people can put these on plants way faster than wall of waters. We would have one person filling the bag with a hose dragged down the row and then positioning the bag with water on the cage and the other person would guide the bag on as it rolled down the sides of the cage making the double wall. They even were made with the top metal ring slightly smaller in diameter than the bottom one which made them more stable and when you are done with them for the year they stack nicely on top of one another. I’ve checked and new 18x36 inch bags are about 50 cents each when you buy a box of 200. I’ve got a friend looking into how much to have the metal cages made.
