Her first "performance" was at the age of three... She stood-up on her "stage" in the airport, and sang & danced for the entire crowd... It was at that moment she was hooked! Tamara grew-up in Cinnaminson, NJ where she found her home in the music department. She was involved in every music opportunity (both in and out of school) her schedule would allow. Her mother was a constant support through e
very show, dance class, acting class, voice lesson, and such... every step of the way. After graduating from Cinnaminson High School, she joined a musical touring group called "Up With People". This group allowed her to travel the world while performing. It was a wonderful experience to start her off in the touring world she would soon become accustomed to. After this year long tour, there was no question what her next move was... college. As much as she knew performing was what she wanted, she also knew just how important a degree was as well. Tamara attended Shenandoah Conservatory, and four years later she graduated ('02) with a BFA in Musical Theater. She enjoyed every second of her college years!... Now it was time to get out there in the "real world" and use her craft in the professional world! As with any new venture, its was a rocky start. But anything worth having is worth working for, and with her never ending "passion & persistence", Tamara soon found herself traveling the world performing professionally. She has been to the other side of the world and back with performing... literally. It has taken her to places such as Germany, Sweden, Denmark, The Netherlands, Japan, South Korea, India, Thailand, Guam, and all over Canada and the great USA! Along the way she began teaching voice lessons, acting classes, theater warm-up classes, and directing various productions. She realized the beauty in teaching your passion is a beauty like no other. It is a chance to share the most honest and precious thing anyone has to offer... themselves. As of 2010, Tamara has found roots back where she grew up... Cinnaminson, NJ. Through all of her traveling she realized home truly is where the heart is. It's not in a place, it's in who you surround yourself with. Tamara now lives in Cinnaminson with her husband Steve, son Hunter & daughter Hannah! Tamara started her very own private vocal studio, located in Cinnaminson as well. She still performs professionally in the tri-state area. Some of you might have seen her recently at Media Theater as Rona in "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee", or perhaps in one of her cabaret's around the area through her company "TLK Studio", or maybe you even saw her singing at a wedding you attended.
