The sidewalks and curbs on the Vine Street Bridge over Fort Washington Way will be repaired over the next two weeks. The work will require some minor distributions to vehicular and pedestrian traffic between Monday, July, 15 and Thursday, July 25.

For the duration of the project, one of the four lanes of traffic on the Vine Street bridge over Fort Washington Way will be blocked. Additionally, one of the two sidewalks will be closed. Pedestrians will be detoured to the other side of the street.

The project will consist of replacing deteriorated pavers with colored concrete. The project aims to increase pedestrian safety, enhance the appearance of the area, and eliminate the need for ongoing maintenance on the bridge.

The work is expected to be complete before the evening commute on Thursday, July 25; however, all work is dependent on the weather.

The right-hand westbound curb lane of Elberon Avenue is shut down after the Sixth St. ramp to Elberon heading towards Mt. Hope. This is due to mud/soil coming over the curb into the roadway lane.

This lane will be closed until further notice.

Adequate space will remain for westbound traffic from the ramp to merge into the left lane with traffic from State Avenue before the closure.

HYDE PARK: Grovedale Place near Sigsbee St will be closed intermittently tomorrow, Tuesday, Dec. 5, through Dec. 15. Crews will be using a crane to tear down parts of an overhead railroad bridge for the Wasson Way Trail. Closures will take place 9 AM - 3 PM daily.
