October Chapter Update #3 – Gifts and More Gifts

Dear Readers, perhaps you saw some of the posts in 2024 that pictured the donated quilts made by Lois F. Of note, she resided just outside of Valdosta, Georgia and was sending her blankets all the way to Ohio specifically to our Project Linus Chapter. It was almost like we had our very own Quilting Fairy Godmother! Earlier this year, she and her husband relocated to the greater Cincinnati area to be closer to family. And, she is back at work sending us quilts. She also donated several generous cuts of cotton fabric!
Thank you Lois, we are delighted you are closer to family and to us!

October Chapter Update #2 – An Open Letter To A Grandmother

Dear Grandmother Lauren (of Lawrenceburg, IN), we are in receipt of your donation of 8 quilts. Not only are the quilts wonderfully made, equally special was the note you included! As you stated, “My granddaughters Audrey, 14, and Caroline, 12, made 5 of the 8….” Fellow blanketeers, I wish you could see the workmanship and feel each blanket’s warmth and love. Here is a grandmother sharing her knowledge and skill and guiding her grandchildren. And, here are two young ladies learning to create and to share with others. Thank you so much for your gift of love and the ripples it will create.
