An inspiring kickoff to the summer. 🌍

Dr. K spent the start of her summer abroad sharing insights on the U.S. healthcare system and highlighting the work of the UC Heart Hub Research Lab with students from around the world.

The mission doesn’t stop at borders. Through research, education, and community engagement, we’re helping build healthier futures locally and globally.

Looking forward to connecting with other leaders and Black families at this event.

Our babies deserve better. Our mothers deserve support. Our community deserves solutions. ✊🏾🖤

Join us for an important conversation at the “Hamilton County’s Infant Mortality Crisis: A Roundtable Discussion” as community leaders, advocates, healthcare professionals, and residents come together to address the realities behind infant mortality in our community — especially the disproportionate impact on Black families.

This is more than a discussion. It’s a call to action for awareness, advocacy, healing, and change. Together, we can create solutions that protect and uplift our mothers, babies, and future generations.
