The 2nd Amendment, ratified in late 1791, does not grant American Citizens the right to bear arms. The 2nd Amendment, along with the Bill of Rights, simply recognizes that these inalienable rights already exist, as granted us by our Creator, supersede law and legislation, and are not guaranteed by a few lines of text in an ancient document, but by the natural law given to humanity. The 2nd Amendme
nt merely points out these rights which are already there.
2nd Alpha Division began as a concept idea to subtly promote the 2nd Amendment by attempting to shed light on one of the Constitution's most demonized human-right: the right to bear arms. While some of our apparel might have an overt (and sometimes offensive) political bend, most of what we produce aims to show support and align with: the founding fathers' intent for the preservation of liberty and freedom; federalism as the principal of free government in a republic; the commitment to the balance of powers; a historical and logical approach to a representative republic; and ultimately the importance of the 2nd Amendment as a means of preserving the liberties of America's citizens. In the current digital age we live in, and the proliferation of gun/firearm apparel companies (most of which we wholly support,) 2nd Alpha Division seeks to be a little more covert in the design of our products - think of it as a conversation starter. Although 2nd Alpha Division is not a movement per se, it is a coming together of like-minded individuals who wish to promote the ideals of the Constitution and look good doing it.
