We are blasting off at 5pm…. I better brush up on my speech. I’m acting as MC for this thing and I won’t have much to say, as these acts speak for themselves. It’s an honor to be here. is hosting .watt and YOURS TRULY on Saturday 10/4! TEN FOUR. Their monthly shindig is quickly becoming my favorite spot for the intentional listening crowd. I am so grateful to share a bill with these behemoths of art and nature. I swear I am standing on the shoulders of giants. Being a weirdo is only ever a good thing. It’s truly a humbling time….this time around I am breaking out some brand new material. Personally I believe that more songs should have a vocoder. 🎃 These patches are gonna be a little bit spookier in nature, by design. We out here. Roll up and get some inspiration in return. Love is everywhere.

Listen carefully….Life can bring you good things. This is what I tell myself while trying out new sounds. It’s ALLlllLlLllLlllL about the journey you’re on. While I am missing the homies at knobcon this year, the spirit of modular synthesis will always live and breathe in my blood. I will see the homies next year fashure. In the evening I am playing with .glass.burn.circle and at the lovely - straight up massive amounts of love and noise felt. Mostly noise tho. But actually no probably more love too.

LOVE IS EVERYWHERE

The cool thing about my journey in Modular is how I began with a small rig. For the purposes of and their event HIGH NOTES, I decided to run with the concept of having a small amount of gear. You can get away with so much with such a simple system! And sometimes, the most impactful art comes across when it is simple! Enjoy this little sample of the small rig I’ve concocted for making ambient tunes.

There is an infinite kind of joy in creating. It’s obvious to say, but when it comes to rearranging eurorack modules, the very little adjustments make the entire thing feel new again. In this case, I decided to patch up Data Bender to my oscillators instead of my drum sampler. Traditionally I would use Data Bender solely on my drum sounds to sorta create a means for little fills, but I love to reinvent this thing to keep it fresh. In a way, this medium challenges me to try new things as often as possible, which forces me to think outside the traditional ways I would use my instrument!
