TwoHoneys Bee Co.
So, I hope you find this page helpful to you as you learn more about bees. But I can’t promise that’s the only topic I’ll cover here. Bees make me think about a lot of different things.

Another comb shaped likes Texas (without the Panhandle...sorry Amarillo and friends)! And another beekeeper wearing her mask. I go through several masks each day because my nose runs so much in it on these hot days. But it’s worth it to be outside yet close to my friends. :)

This is certainly excellent news, friends...but let me emphatically say that honey should not be considered "cheap." Good food like local, treatment-free, raw honey is not inexpensive...so enjoy it in moderation.
Honey better treatment for coughs and colds than antibiotics, study claims Research suggests honey also more effective than many over-the-counter medicines

Fleming's mother once kept bees, and this season, Fleming has stepped into her mother's wonderful shoes...even using her mother's vintage smoker and sturdy steel hive stand. Fleming's son, Angus, is also becoming a beekeeper this summer...three collaborating generations.
Fleming's mother probably never wore a mask when she kept her bees, but we sort of consider it standard protective equipment this season. :) What's more, when Fleming's non-beekeeping children and their friends come out to watch us or visit, they wear their masks too. I find that an extraordinarily kind and mannerly gesture. Thanks, Ackermans!

This year, Lynda’s harvesting quite a bit of honey...but it took years of work. Honey doesn’t simply materialize because we want it to happen. It’s not a snap-of-the-finger outcome to wishful thinking. And neither is the end to this pandemic. We need patience and good practices for both. See Lynda’s white flowers in her wildflower field? See Lynda’s mask? Ask Lynda if it’s all worth it.
