The shower chance I mentioned last night is moving through the area this morning. Most locations will only see light rainfall, but it’s enough to add moisture to the air.
As we head into the afternoon, with sunshine this will help evaporate that moisture back into the atmosphere. That’s why it will feel even more humid later today, even though rainfall amounts won’t be very impressive.
It’s a good reminder that it doesn’t take much rain to make a summer day feel a lot more muggy.

A little behind the scenes update for everyone.
I wanted to take a minute to share what has been going on behind the scenes. I’m not going anywhere. I’m still doing the weather, still covering the community, and still working every day to bring you the information you count on.
At the same time, I’ve been working on multiple products designed to help streamers, broadcasters, and online creators better tell the story behind what they share. A lot of what I’m building comes from the tools, systems, and lessons I’ve developed and learned over the years through live coverage, weather updates, community alerts, streaming workflows, and serving this local community.
This is ultimately about the future. I’m learning new ways to better serve you, while also building something that I hope will help shape my future and finally allow me to turn this into a full time career.
ForecastCanvas is now live and officially on its feet. I’ve also made exciting progress with Amazon, with some big news coming soon that I’m looking forward to sharing.
The products I’ve been building are also starting to reach more places. They are now in Iowa, Oklahoma, Ohio, Southeast Kentucky, Northwest North Carolina, Southwest Virginia, Northeast Tennessee, and New York. That means a lot to me because it shows this is growing beyond just an idea. It is becoming something real that can help creators and communities in different areas.
I’m continuing to develop and improve tools like Forecast Canvas L Bar, Alert Ticker, and custom mobile app options for users on other streaming platforms. These tools are designed to help creators keep their viewers informed, connected, and engaged in real time.
The weather coverage is not stopping. The local updates are not stopping. This is me building the next step, learning as I go, and working toward a future where I can serve this community even better.
