New Amazon 2024 FBA Fees 12/06/2023

Yesterday, Amazon announced several fee changes that will be rolling out throughout 2024. Some of these are huge wins for sellers, such as the Vine Program tier pricing; however, others can cause spin, such as the Low Inventory Fee.

Managing your inventory and avoiding these fees is becoming more precarious and requires a constant finger on the pulse of your account, inbound to Amazon lead times, and product sourcing timelines.

Effective March 1, 2023, Amazon has increased their rebate from 5% to 10% on average. This rebate applies to sales of eligible parent ASINs that are new to FBA for brand owners who complete Brand Registry.
The rebate is available on up to 30 units for eligible oversize items for 90 days, and up to 100 units for eligible standard-size items for 120 days.
If you combine the New to FBA incentives with the “honeymoon” period, Amazon is setting sellers up for success. The “honeymoon” period refers to the period that exists within Amazon’s A9 algorithm for the first 14-30 days of a new product launch; it allows a new launch to rank without having a sales history.
