The Health Collaborative works with hospitals and health care providers to expose regional students to health care careers to ensure an adequate and competent Tristate workforce. We seek out high school students from Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky & Southeast Indiana. Each month, students in the current classes receive opportunities to engage with physicians and healthcare professionals in a variety of specialties.

Lights, camera, … incision! Today’s TAP Health summer finale was a live surgery at UC Medical Center! 🩻
Located in UC’s historic medical amphitheater where live surgeries have been performed for years, the TAP students witnessed a kidney transplant performed by Dr. Alex Chang and narrated by Dr. R. Cutler Quillin. The surgery went very smoothly and students loved learning about this life-saving exchange as it took place in real time.
Thank you to the UC Health surgical team and administrators for making the summer’s final event a success!
