I’m disappointed… But I’m also clearer about the nature of the country we live in. Racism and s*xism, alongside the protection of white rule, is the “Make America Great Again” the majority of its citizens chose.

My thoughts are with the young folx, especially those whose color or gender or s*xuality or immigration status with rule them unworthy of the Americanness most here aspire to. I need them to be okay. That’s my fight.

Donald Trump did every possible thing wrong (34 felony convictions, 4 indictments, 2 impeachments, a s*xual assault judgment, incited a violent insurrection, lost the debate, and even simulated lewd s*x acts on stage), and it did not matter to the majority of white voters, including 52 percent of white women who voted for him anyway.
