🌿🐛 Exploring Nature at Green Acres! 🌳🔍
Our older Summer of Promise students traded the classroom for the trails as they headed to Green Acres () for an unforgettable day of outdoor exploration!
With the help of knowledgeable guides, our students became young naturalists—searching beneath fallen logs, observing insects and other tiny creatures, learning about forest ecosystems, and discovering how every plant and animal plays an important role in nature. Curiosity was on full display as students asked questions, made observations, and experienced science in the best classroom of all: the great outdoors.
Field trips like these inspire a love of learning while building observation skills, teamwork, and an appreciation for the environment. There's nothing quite like getting your hands a little dirty while making lifelong memories!
