🌟 2026 Impact 100 Grant Finalist Spotlight: Mary Magdalen House 🌟

For decades, Mary Magdalen House has been a place where people experiencing homelessness can find dignity, care, and a fresh start. This year, their vision is expanding in a powerful new way.

Their finalist project — MMH Goes Mobile — will create Greater Cincinnati’s first mobile shower and laundry trailer, bringing essential hygiene services and resource connection directly to individuals living outdoors or without access to basic facilities.

It’s more than clean clothes or a warm shower. It’s a moment of humanity. A chance to breathe. A step toward stability.

All seven Finalists will present their projects to members, who make their selections in late August. Recipients of $100,000 grants will be announced on September 15 at Cincinnati Music Hall.

Impact in Action: A Story of Courage and Transformation

Lucretia Bowman has lived through trauma most of us can hardly imagine — childhood abuse, abandonment, and later, a 17year prison sentence. But her story didn’t end there. With strength, faith, and determination, Lucretia rebuilt her life.

And in that rebuilding, she felt called by God to help other women rebuild theirs. That calling led her to City Gospel Mission, where her leadership has touched and transformed countless lives.

In 2022, Impact 100 Cincinnati awarded City Gospel Mission a $100,000 grant to outfit the kitchen at the Mt. Auburn Martha S. Lindner Center for Transformation. Today, that kitchen is a place of healing — where women learn, grow, and rediscover their confidence and independence.

Lucretia continues to guide women toward new futures, and the ripple effect of her work is felt throughout our community.

🌟 Meet the 2026 Impact 100 Cincinnati Finalists! 🌟

Our second finalist spotlight features Hillside Trust and their commitment to protecting and connecting Cincinnati’s natural landscape through the 🌳 Goltra Preserve Trail Project

Cincinnati’s hillsides are a defining part of our region — and The Hillside Trust has worked for decades to ensure they remain protected, preserved, and thoughtfully used.

Their 2026 finalist project would create a multi use trail loop on the 67 acre Goltra Preserve in East Westwood. This new trail system would give students, residents, and visitors access to one of the city’s most beautiful wooded green spaces.

Beyond recreation, the project is rooted in stewardship — building volunteer networks, strengthening community engagement, and helping more people experience and care for these natural hillsides for generations to come.
