Being a mom is hard enough 😫

My greatest job is being a mom but as all moms know, it’s WORK. 🫠

As women we wear so many hats and carry so many bags (bag lady). Adding a career on top of this role can sometimes be overwhelming.

As a career coach for financial advisors, I intentionally seek to recruit women and moms into this industry as an advisor.

These are 3 reasons why moms should consider a career as a financial advisor ❗️

1. FLEXIBILITY 💪🏾 the FA career allows you to show up and be present for your family. You build your business, and can carve out time to never miss a game or PTSA meeting if you choose.

2. IMPACT 🙏🏾 Advisors get to show up for the people and things they are passionate about. What greater way to be a role model to our kids then to show them how we can impact generations by the work that we do.

3. INCOME 💰 Let’s be honest. We love to spoil these babies with not just things but experiences. And while money is not the goal, it is certainly a tool to live the lives we desire. This career has unlimited earning potential; join a careeer where you are paid your worth in dollars too!

Yesterday I had the opportunity to educate veterans on the powerful work Thrivent is doing in the Cincinnati and military community. As well as educate them on the DOD Skillbridge program! My husband, a veteran himself, joined me this morning.

The DOD SkillBridge program is for service members, when in the last 180 days of service, Thrivent will help them gain skills, training and guidance to transition into civilian work as a financial advisor.

Service members make a GREAT fit as an advisor as they are trustworthy, passionate, caring and self-motivated individuals.
