Yesterday morning I had an ear-worm; It Never Rains in Southern California kept playing in my head, and I wanted to sing along, but I couldn't remember it well enough. Last night at Drew's on the River, though, I got to sing and play it on guitar, thanks to Vic Matthews, who played bass with me --- he had two tablet computers, each with the song's lyrics chart, so we could both follow along. Thanks Vic, and while I'm at it, thanks for the harmonizing vocals .... we sounded great for the few customers who either didn't see or ignored the post about Drew's being closed last night due to high water.
