We used the amaranth we harvested from our Children’s Garden to make some healthier chocolate cookies! And we’re bringing them to tomorrow and Friday’s cookie Exchange! Come join us! Bake or buy a batch to share and swap. We’ll have baking activities for the kids too.

Don’t forget! Our first self-care event for parents and caregivers during this busy year-end season is happening with at THIS Friday at 8pm! Put the kids down for bed and join us, or better yet, get out of the house early and grab yourself a quiet drink nearby at or before we start. Give yourself an excuse to create time for your own mind, body and spirit this week.

After a long week of food, festivities and family time, we’re feeling thankful to get back to a routine and thankful for the many partners, neighbors and families who’ve joined us in creating space for connection, wonder and belonging this year. Tomorrow is and we’ve got a new project to share. Stay tuned for a special opportunity to make a big impact with us as we respond to some urgent needs in our community in 2026 and beyond.
