Mayla Johnson Racing

First I want to say that racing at Farmington Empire Speedway was the most fun I had in a long time. And to top it off I got to race with Haleigh Gross.
We started off going to I-55 Federated Auto Parts Raceway Park but got rained out. Haleigh called and said lets go to Farmington Empire Speedway. Just 35 minutes up the road.
We really didn't study this track before getting there but quickly noticed its D shaped track. After some pointers from Gross Family Racing on how to enter turn one I was feeling more confident.
Hot laps went pretty good. Learning a new track in 4 laps is a challenge.
Heat race was a pill draw and passing points. Managed to pass a couple cars getting enough points to get me in the feature through the heat race. WooHoo!
Started 16th ended up 10th in the feature. We will make a video clip and post that soon.
