OKKR Neonatal Unit

For the followers here in Choctaw, or that follow the Choctaw Police Department official page, we woke up to the post about last nights escapades….

This baby isn’t quite old enough to maintain body heat or eat solid food, but may have a family who wants to adopt after vetting!!

I *think* we have a little boy! Now to come up with a name and get some food ready this baby can eat! I will share a wishlist at some point today in comments!

The dangers of the night shift are real…

Most people think we’re out chasing cars, snagging bad guys, or responding to dangerous calls.

Last night? Our biggest threat turned out to be a tiny kitten that had taken up residence in a storm drain. 🐱

Thanks to the teamwork between the Choctaw Police Department and Choctaw Fire Department, the little furball was safely rescued and is doing just fine.

I hope and pray that everyone who follows this page made it thru the storms last night and these past few weeks with minimal issues. Thankfully I have dealt with very minimal damage myself.

Well my group who were supposed to move Monday are still with me. Not sure what happened, but hoping we can get them moved soon. In the meantime, we need kitty litter! We are specifically looking for clumping, unscented litter! I am more than happy to share donation links, or I can do an Amazon list!

I know it was raining water very early this morning, but I think now it is raining kittens!!!!

Let’s welcome Smokey and Bandit into my care! I •think• they are girls, but it is very hard to tell when they are only about 2 weeks old. They are not related, and came from opposite sides of OKC.

I have got to get more ge**er baby meat, baby wipes and baby Ambesol since they will have teeth coming in very soon!
