The Southern California Basque Club (SCBC) was founded in the spring of 1946 by Father Espelette, a Basque Benedictine priest from the Pyrenees Mountains of France and Spain. Each year the club hosts a picnic the first Sunday of July to celebrate the Basque traditions with food, dance, and song. All guests are welcome to pre-purchase meal/drink tickets for our Saturday dinner/Sunday Picnic. You'll also be able to submit a reservation for Friday/Saturday events taking place at Centro Basco Restaurant.
