In 1999, Tim earned his Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology from Alliant International University (Los Angeles Campus). Tim has over 13 years of teaching experience which includes 9 years with the University of Phoenix; over 1 year with the United States Military Academy, West Point, NY and 3 years with The Chicago School of Professional Psychology (Irvine and Los Angeles Campuses). Tim has 20 year
s of health care experience, including 10 as a civilian: County of Orange Health Care Agency, Kaiser Permanente, Medical Data International, HealthCare Partners Medical Group; and 10 as an active duty service member (rank of Major) within the United States Army Reserves as a Research Psychologist: Army Reserve Medical Command, Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, the United States Military Academy. While on active duty, Tim was the first author of a journal article that examined the important roles that both reservists and their civilian employers play in homeland defense.
