Independence Day is right around the corner and who doesnt love a good 4th of july celebration! With that being said there are some things that pet owners should be aware of to keep your furry friends safe and secure for the upcoming holiday!

🐾 Nothing beats a good 4th of July cookout with loved ones, in order to keep our furry friends safe during holiday festivities its best to keep your pup securely contained in a kennel or seperate room during your festivities of choice if possible. If crating or containment is not an option consider tethering your pup to your waist via a secure leash so you know where they are at all times. Remember an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!

🐾 fireworks can spook even the most bomb proof pup so be sure that your pups microchip and tags are up to date in the event they spook and run off.

🐾 food- hot dogs, hamburgers, and all the fixins' that go with may be delicious for us humans but try not to allow our furry friends to partake!

Kosmo is KILLING IT with his lessons! Im so proud of this handsome pup, this week we worked on holding a down and recall around two of his weaknesses the hose and w**d- Wacker. He is definitely showing huge signs of improvement and his owner can finally water her fabulous garden in peace, something that a few weeks ago would have been impossible for her to do!
