Chico CCLC

It was a great day for the CCLC! We were so lucky to work with such an amazing group of leaders, creators and passionate visionaries. Our CPC, Anna Marquez, won our Charles “CC” Carter Transformational Leader Award for influencing change within others and oppressive systems to move diversity forward. Our CPC, Allen David Turner won the CCLC Heart award for his personal growth and constant contribution to creating a welcoming and inclusive home environment in our center. Our Inclusion Coordinator, Shradha Shakya won the Courageous Leader Award for being fearless in the face of uncertainty, risk, and exposure in finding her voice and empowering others.

We’re totally biased, but we have one of the most amazing staff on campus with some of the most talented, caring and heart – work oriented students. If the CCLC is anything it is because of them. We’re sad to see our seniors go, but we know that they will go on to do great things in the next chapter of their lives. Working in the CCLC is a vibe, ya’ll! IYKYK.
