We all know, the Internet is FULL of knowledge. With all that information comes people who want to take advantage. When searching online for something, be cautious and aware. Always scroll past the “Sponsored” results. When you search online for a business, do not click on any results that say “Sponsored.” Sponsored results are advertisements that rise to the top of your search results. Sometimes the sponsored link will lead to the true business you are searching for and sometimes it will lead you into the hands of scammers. The top two results shown below are scam ads. If you call the phone number listed in either of these “Sponsored” results you will call a scammer posing as Apple. The real phone number for Apple support has been circled.
