Shout out to an amazing nonprofit The Butterfly Family Fund who help families with children with Epidermolysis Bullosa, or EB. Those with EB are often referred to as butterfly children because their skin is as fragile as butterfly wings. Any kind of bumping or friction makes their skin blister or shear off. This impacts many other organs including the mouth, eyes, esophagus and stomach. It is known as the worst disease you never heard of and for good reason. The Butterfly Family Fund is a place for kids to be kids and caregivers to feel cared for.
