Science is by definition: the systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation, experimentation, and the testing of theories against the evidence obtained. Our view of science is the foundation of progress, shaping how we understand the world and how we build for the future; and this principle leads into the definition of technology.
Technology is the application of scientific knowledge, tools, techniques, and systems to solve practical problems, improve efficiency, or simplify human life. From engineering and medicine to energy and space exploration, its impact reaches every aspect of modern life.
Our vision is to celebrate and elevate science by making it visible, accessible, and integrated into everyday urban experience. We believe the future of cities lies in bringing together research, education, industry, and public life—creating STEM environments where innovation is not hidden, but shared.
As part of this mission, we’ve recently submitted our vision for Chicago’s future to the Horizon Lines initiative by World Business Chicago, contributing to the conversation on how cities can evolve as global hubs for science and innovation.
"The future will be built on knowledge, and science will lead the way"

Today, we kickstart the new year with our latest announcement and vision ahead:
Our project’s founder, Raphael Chryslar, has visited the City of Chicago in December 2025.
He had arranged a meeting with the planning representative - specifically the aldermen who have jurisdiction over the proposed site. The zone between S. Desplaines, W. Harrison, W. Taylor, and S. Canal streets, is governed by both the 25 and 28th wards. Chryslar conversed with the staff and shared our website, technical drawings and general information with them. Byron Sigho-López and his associates expressed interest in our proposal, including brief remarks at how the complex would have the potential to draw talent and STEM businesses to the city, in addition to boosting government and private-sector revenues. He has subsequently passed on our information and idea to the 28th ward alderman (Jason C. Ervin) as well as the other planning teams at City Hall and the mayor. We have secured direct contacts and they have requested our team to keep in touch internally as the project evolves. In addition, Byron had advised our founder to also consider our alternate list of cities (detailed on our website) in addition to providing them our press kit and environmental and logistical strategy in detail as soon as it is published.
In addition, Chryslar also visited CBS studios just opposite City Hall and shared the website with one of the journalists. While we keep his name confidential at this time, Chryslar has been briefed on an opportunity for an interview upon the publication of our comprehensive press kit and documentary.
Therefore, our goals for 2026 are to first conduct an extensive literature review on these three fields:
* Tenants that may be interested in moving to the World Tech Center,
* National and international investment banks and firms that may be interested in backing our proposal,
* Research on what economic and science problems the WTC can offer to solve,
Next, the development of the press kit and documentary will cover the aforementioned topics in addition to our backstory, history, sitemap, and the value proposition. We aim to publish these by May/June 2026. Assuming everything progresses closely to plan, we may secure our slot for formal news unveiling no earlier than late June 2026, in time for the 4th of July celebrations - the United States Semiquincentennial or America250.
As we move forward with this New Year’s Resolution, we will be drastically reducing the frequency of subsequent posts on this page (except major announcements) as our team works internally with our network. Thank you for your attention.
