Composting Partners will be offering Aerobic, In-Vessel composting as an alternative to the Open Windrow technique. We look forward to collaborating with partners who are already collecting food scraps/bioscraps and who are looking for this alternative process which avoids adverse odor, environmental and infestation side effects.

From the Illinois Recycling Foundation: Compostable Products Webinar: 12/15/21 from 10:30AM - 12PM Central.
The Illinois Recycling Foundation is holding a webinar on compostable products that may be of interest to USCC chapter members.
The webinar features a summary of the recent California standards legislation, followed by presentations of two compost facilities in Illinois that are using different approaches to accept them. EcoProducts and Better Earth Logistics/LHF Compost work together and take the vertical integration approach to control the process in Central Illinois. We Care Denali, through CMA, plans to take the third-party certification approach at their new Harborview compost site in Chicago. We look forward to you joining us on the webinar.

International Compost Awareness Week 2021 Event hosted by the Illinois Food Scrap Coalition and partners. FREE and open to the public.
