Do you or someone you know have trouble with their alcohol use? CDC data shows that women have been leading the way in alcohol-related illnesses and diseases, and this figure is continuing to rise. A big reason for the rates of deaths being so high is due to the shame and stigma women may face in receiving treatment for their alcohol use. Treatment is necessary, and treatment is lifesaving.
