Since 2009 Sound Culture has produced and presented to date over 300 live programs of World Music and Jazz in over 20 venues around Chicago from artists representing over 40 countries. Friends and friends of friends! World Music Festival Chicago is upon us once again! Starting this Friday with an all-night Indian classical music Ragamala from 6pm to 8am. Then continuing with another 9 days(!) of FREE shows. Join us on this journey around the world and discover something amazing. Sept 20-29. I'll be running around with Carlos making sure the duct tape, paperclips, and gum are keeping it all together... come say hi!
