We provide job training for individuals facing barriers to employment. Monarch Thrift Shop is a 501c3 organization that applies commercial strategies to maximize improvements in human well-being. We stand on three pillars of action to help break cycles of youth homelessness, reduce recidivism and rebuild lives. With 3,000 sq.ft of shopping space, our award winning location is in Chicago's Avondale community, 2875 N Milwaukee Avenue

What if I told you that one of the world’s coolest neighborhoods is a vintage lover’s paradise, right here in Chicago? Time Out says Chicago’s Avondale neighborhood is the sixth coolest in the world 👀 so obviously I had to investigate. I think I need to return in the summer to have a full opinion on the “coolest neighborhood” verdict, but I definitely can tell you now that the Skull Island banana mocha at The Brewed is worth the trip alone.
