Let’s give a big welcome to our new Customer Success Manager – Nick Harazim!

Nick will be responsible for onboarding new customers, making sure they’re ready to deploy the system, and helping them through any questions or concerns along the way.

Nick first met COO Lisa Gillespie about 10 years ago when she was his accounting professor at Loyola. Then, she introduced him to Abacus CEO David Moscatelli as David was working in Audit Innovation at Deloitte at the time and Nick was interested in a career in Auditing.

The three of them stayed in touch ever since.

More recently, Lisa asked Nick if he’d be interested in expanding from accounting and finance to customer success, and now here he is!

Welcome to Abacus, Nick!

Traditional underwriting is incredibly slow. Plus, it often overlooks nontraditional profiles that actually qualify.

Go Abacus runs underwriting differently.

Multiple AI agents work together – risk assessment, fraud detection, income verification, compliance – to analyze a complete financial picture in real time.

Approvals that once took 3 days now take mere hours. All members get a fair evaluation. And your compliance team no longer has to manually check every decision against lending regulations.

And this helps save teams up to 18,000 hours per year!

Enterprise Solutions Consultant had a packed booth at Cyber Tech 2026!

Throughout the entire event, bankers stopped by to ask questions about AI infrastructure from what it looks, how it works, and how Abacus fits into security and compliance strategy.

One thing Jacob kept hearing: "We heaven't come across anything quite like this."

Honestly we're not surprise - most AI solutions about built for the realities of regulated industries.

Thanks to the Bankers Association for hosting a great event, and to everyone who stopped by to talk.

Enterprise Solutions Consultant Jacob Nolen just wrapped up Fintech XChange.

He spent the week at the University of Utah connecting with bankers and fintech leaders.

He also participated in two roundtable discussions on "Generative AI in Fraud Prevention: What's Needed Today?" and "Mitigating AI Risks: A How-To Framework for Banks & Fintechs."

One thing he noticed: bankers are moving past the "what does AI do?" conversation and into "how do we build the right infrastructure for it?"

This is exactly what we're here for at Abacus!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by, shared their challenges, and joined the conversation.

Kaitlyn Bryan, PMP has joined Abacus as our Chief of Staff!

Kaitlyn brings over 6 years of experience in government and financial consulting, and she’s already making a big difference.

Since the very first day, she’s been streamlining projects, improving team communication, and helping us move faster without losing focus.

Her ability to organize complex workstreams and bring clarity to cross-functional initiatives is exactly what we needed as we scale. All our creative ideas are now moving at lightning speed.

Welcome to the team, Kaitlyn. We’re glad to have you here.

Traditional compliance is reactive, manual, and siloed. It also leads to gaps in risk visibility, which is obviously not ideal.

A lot of credit unions nowadays run periodic audits and as a result, catch problems 3 months too late.

Monitoring needs to be continuous. Abacus AI agents monitor transactions, communications, and policy adherence in real time. They flag anomalies, detect patterns, and coordinate across risk domains.

Because these agents communicate across domains, they can also act collaboratively.

So, for example, if a cybersecurity agent detects a compromised member account, it can alert a transaction monitoring agent to flag related activity.

And there are also clear audit trails, so that human officers can validate these actions.

At this point, it’s risky not to adopt AI.

Your security team got 847 alerts last week.

How many were actual threats? Maybe 12.

Here’s the problem: credit unions face the same volume of security alerts as massive banks. But you don’t have their resources.

So, your team is drowning in false positives, chasing down alerts that don’t matter.

Abacus cuts through that noise with AI-driven threat detection.

The system evaluates every alert for breachability (can this actually be exploited?) and exploitability (will it cause real damage?).

It uses your specific context – your architecture, your network exposure, your risk profile – separate high-risk from low-risk.

Real threats get escalated immediately. False positives get filtered out automatically.

Now your security can focus on threats that actually matter.

And you can better protect your member’s data.

The Unique Challenges and Opportunities for AI Companies Working with Banks | Future Nexus 02/03/2026

A while back, Go Abacus CEO and Founder David Moscatelli was quoted in nexus about what makes AI infrastructure work for banks.

It comes down to control.

With Go Abacus, you get to choose what version of the LLM you're operating on. You get to choose what data it's connected to. And you get to choose what data comes out of it.

Best of all, installation is simple and fast.

The Unique Challenges and Opportunities for AI Companies Working with Banks | Future Nexus The AI revolution in banking isn’t coming, it’s here. But if you talk to the AI companies actually selling into financial institutions, you will discover that widespread adoption is moving slower than the headlines suggest. Not because the technology doesn’t work, and certainly not because ban...

Your members have questions at 11pm on a Tuesday. Maybe it’s about loan rates, or that weird fee, or whether they can use their debit card in Portugal.

And your credit union staff is...asleep. Because it’s 11pm.

Enter Abacus!

Now you have a “staff member” that’s available 24/7 to answer questions, explain loan options, and walk members through account setup.

And your actual team can focus instead on complex, high-touch questions while the AI handles “What’s my routing number?” for the 47th time this week.

It’s an all around win-win situation. Wouldn’t you agree?

Data fragmentation was one of the worst parts of working in financial services.

Lending guidelines is in one system; member transaction history is in another. Compliances docs are in a third. And policy updates are buried somewhere in someone’s shared drive.

You end up wasting 20 minutes hunting for information, or worse, using outdated data because it's what you found.

So, this is one of many reasons why we built Go Abacus.

Employees can ask questions in plain language; the system searches across all sources and returns accurate answers with citations (in case you want to double check).

Now, daily work is so much more efficient.
