FILE 13 HAS SIGNED THE SUPERGROUP CRUSHED ICE!
As the globe went into lockdown in early 2020, Dave Laney (Milemarker, Challenger, Auxes) reached out to a handful of long time friends and collaborators, pitching the idea of an Exquisite Corpse-style recording project with the promise that all involved could get as weird as needed – and they all needed to get weird.
Beginning with John Crouch (Horseback, Caltrop, Solar Halos, Auxes) and Peter Hess (Philip Glass Ensemble, Slavic Soul Party, Balkan Beat Box, Barbez, Songs:Ohia), the band quickly expanded to include Franz Nicolay (The Hold Steady), Rachel Hirsh (solo, I Was Totally Destroying It, Bruxes) and H.C. McEntire (solo, Mount Moriah, Bellafea).
