The Singapore AUV Challenge - SAUVC is an international student robotics competition that challenges teams to design, build, and operate autonomous underwater vehicles in missions inspired by real ocean operations. Since 2013, SAUVC has provided a hands-on platform for students to develop skills in underwater autonomy, perception, navigation, and systems integration while connecting with the global marine robotics community.

This year marked a major milestone as SAUVC was held outside Singapore for the first time, bringing the competition to Sanya, China. The event recognized two First Prize winners, teams from Selcuk University and Telkon University, along with three Second Prize winners, one Third Prize winner, and two IEEE Oceanic Engineering Society Innovation Award winners. The Innovation Award winners were also invited to present their work at IEEE OCEANS Sanya, strengthening the connection between SAUVC and the broader ocean engineering community.
