The Story of the New Deal Era painted tile murals at the Uptown Post Office in Chicago by Henry Varnum Poor. He was hired by the US Government to produce these Murals for decoration of the then new Post Office. The figures that are featured in the Murals include images inspired by Chicagoans Carl Sandburg and Louis Sullivan.
