The Independent Film Alliance Chicago and SAG-AFTRA table read series is kicking off the 2020 season with the script 'Three Hours' written by Aemilia Scott. Producer Holli McGinley.

The film follows a single mother living on the edge of Chicago’s Humboldt Park, who has three hours to find someone, anyone, to care for her child, or risk losing the job that keeps both of them from losing their home.

The table read will be followed by a moderated feedback session with the writer and audience members. Snacks and beverages will be provided.

This event is free for members of The Independent Film Alliance (both former IFP and Stage 18 members) and SAG Members, and $20 for the public.

Proceeds from the event will go to the actors who are donating their time!

Bigs news!! 🚨 Stage 18 Chicago and IFP Chicago have merged to create The Independent Film Alliance. IFA provides the programming and resources needed to integrate the art and commerce of independent content creation, in order to build a diverse, sustainable industry in Chicago. Our two organizations have a history of successfully collaborating. By combining staff and operational resources, as well as working together for sponsorship and grant opportunities, the two organizations can function more efficiently as one. IFA, Chicago's goal is to foster a self-sustaining ecosystem for a diverse community of independent media makers and artists in Chicagoland, with a particular focus on the development of creative producers.
