WOW! CMA Fest was one for the books. For those of you that don’t know this guy his name is Danny Wells. Remember songs like “Check Yes or No”? How about Rascal Flatts 1st Number 1 “These Days” well he wrote them! This weekend i witnessed several artists ask him for an opportunity to write a song with him. His response was the same.. “I really don’t write with people anymore unless they have something big going on or I believe whole heartedly in them” He did not just say this to the several others that asked him, he also said this to me. 😳😢 Then for some reason after seeing me Thursday Night he showed up at my show on Friday. Then he showed up again on Saturday. On Saturday June 6th as I came off stage one of the most renowned songwriters in Nashville came up to me and said, “Kelly, you have made a believer out of me, Let’s get some titles together and write some songs, you got something special kid.” I was speechless. The guy who wrote number 1 hits for Rascal Flatts and The King George Straight believes in me. He could have chosen so many other artists at CMA fest. 😳 Thank you Danny Wells for making my CMA Fest a weekend I will never forget! NOW LETS WRITE A F #%KING #1 song!
