Thank you for the amazing weekend of recognition and Award of Merit. Shout out to my people for being this years poster artist, & for winning some pretty dope awards.

And last but not least, for winning BEST IN SHOW! A highly deserved award for one of MY OG’s. I always look forward to our conversations and could be happier for you bro!!!!

DOOR NUMBER ELEVEN: This one was special and my first time attempting night photography and painting with light. This one is a multiple exposure pieced together from 5 individually lighted photographs.

(I don’t know if it’s “lit” or “lighted”. “Lit” sounds right to me but I think it’s the latter)

We lit the door with 1 exposure and lit the mountains in the background section by section.

It was absolutely gorgeous out there and took what seemed like forever while trying to dial everything in. But this was the kind of forever I was cool with. All trial and error. Nothing else mattered in the moment. Sky was clear, temperature was a crispy cool and this was definitely an opportunity I was going to enjoy.

Learned a lot and will def try this again.
