This week we are continuing our celebration of with RestoringVision and sharing the story of Namdeo Shivram for this week's . Namdeo has been a farmer over the course of his entire life, with leisure and rest being luxuries he cannot afford. He takes cattle to the field for grazing in the morning so that he has time to look after his grandchildren in the afternoon while the family is away working on the farms.

Now, his afternoons are more fruitful because he can read stories to his grandchildren – thanks to the glasses he received through RestoringVision’s programs. As a result, he also now teaches his grandchildren simple arithmetic and calculations.

Thanks to RestoringVision and his newly acquired reading glasses, Namdeo has added a renewed purpose and utility to his life.
