To activate a vast, underutilized spec suite, Spark added staging elements that introduced bold pattern play and a large-scale gallery wall to establish personality and visual anchors throughout this space at 1 South Wacker. Layered artwork, area rugs, and abundant greenery, from statement trees to lush planter boxes, add warmth and texture. The result is a once-empty environment reimagined as vibrant, lively, and ready for occupancy!

Spark Staging is growing, and we’re looking for a dependable, hands-on, and highly organized Warehouse Assistant to join our team!

This role is primarily based in our studio’s warehouse, supporting the logistics behind our staging projects. If you enjoy physical, active work, take pride in organization, and want to be part of a creative studio environment, this role is for you.

A successful gallery wall strikes a balance between scale and spacing, blending contrast, color, and composition into one cohesive story. Taking into account the architecture, sightlines, and lighting, our team layers in pieces that complement the palette and tone of each unique space. Mixing frame finishes, varying scale, and playing with negative space keeps the composition dynamic yet cohesive, resulting in a gallery that feels collected over time and seamlessly integrated into the space.

For this gallery wall at Oak Park City Apartments, we took cues from the Frank Lloyd Wright inspired architecture, mixing in a more current design aesthetic while still hinting at a mid-century modern feeling
