We're proud to celebrate Thresholds Chief of Community Engagement & Equity Dee Atkins on her official appointment to the Northern Illinois Transit Authority (NITA) Board.

We're also excited to share that Thresholds Board member Dr. Garth Walker has been appointed to the board, making this an extra special win for .

Dee has dedicated her career to building stronger communities through collaboration, equity, and meaningful engagement. We know she'll bring that same passion and leadership to this important regional role.

It’s a great day to support housing access!

Today, we are honored to participate in Hope for Homes Day, a statewide day of giving to expand supportive housing. Each year, we come together to advocate and fundraise for housing in Illinois.

We’ve seen the impact of implementing a housing-first approach, and today, we have the opportunity to expand that impact to more communities and individuals throughout the state.

It was another great year celebrating the YWCA Evanston/North Shore Ricky Byrdsong Memorial Race Against Hate with Team Thresholds!

Each year, we proudly come together at the largest social justice run/walk event of its kind nationwide in unity against racial hatred and violence. Thank you to all the Thresholds staff who participated and all who supported us and this great cause.

We're already looking forward to next year!
