One of Daystar's core beliefs is that the city and the world are our classroom. And that doesn't stop when school lets out for the summer.

Chicago is one of the most historically rich, culturally vibrant, and fascinating cities in the country. Its neighborhoods, parks, museums, public art, architecture, businesses, and communities all have stories to tell. Learning is everywhere.

As adults, we know this instinctively. We learn through conversations, experiences, travel, challenges, and discovery. We want our students to know it too.

That's why Daystar Summer Camps are designed to help students engage the city around them, ask questions, make connections, and see familiar places with fresh eyes. Here's the schedule:

*Daystar Academy partners with Illinois Action for Children’s Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) to provide eligible families with financial assistance for summer programming for children ages 3–13.
