Dug into the archives and found this vocal I wrote for a collab. The real BTS of what it actually looks like when someone sends a beat and you just go.

First pass ideas, stacking harmonies, building it out in real time, glitches and all. That raw moment where the idea hits and you just chase it.

Lowkey wild nothing ever came of this one because the vocal and writing still hit. But I’ve got the full session saved, extra layers, extra harms, all of it. If any producers want the files, say the word.

If anything, this is a reminder to myself that the second the beat drops, the melodies are already there. That’s my lane.

Produced a fire beat and had to spit some bars over it. This is the raw, the real, the way I’m posted working in the studio. No masks, no fluff, just comfortable. Midway to LGA. 6 hour delay turned into a quick sesh. I wrote this in a couple hours sitting at the gate after I got so bored I figured I should use my time wisely. It’s not perfect but felt too real not to share. So here’s my reflections on the current state of affairs, had to stop waiting and make something out of it. Recorded this in a family bathroom after fully performing it in the terminal with everyone staring just to play it back with no audible take. Classic. ✨
